A South Florida family, a passion for the racehorse, and a set of purple-and-green silks.
Fitzpatrick Stables began the way most great hobbies do — with a love of the racehorse and the thrill of watching one find the line in front. What started as a passion for the sport grew into ownership, and ownership into a small family racing, breeding and trading operation that we are proud to call our own.
We keep things deliberately small and hands-on. At any given time we might have runners in training at Gulfstream Park, a handful of broodmares and their young stock coming through, and horses we’re preparing to buy or sell. Because we’re active in the market, the string is always changing — but every horse in our care is known, named and looked after personally: quality over quantity, done for the love of it.
We may be a hobby stable, but we approach it with real standards — good people, sound horses, and a deep respect for the animals at the heart of it all.
Welfare, soundness and patience come before any result. Our horses are family.
We breed and race from pedigrees with genuine black-type and Grade 1 class.
This is a hobby done for love. Every horse, every milestone, every race day is a celebration.
Our horses carry purple and green — colours we wear with pride, from the parade ring to the winner’s circle.
