Legends Song is our broodmare and the heart of the breeding side of the stable — a bay mare foaled in 2019 by the champion sire Empire Maker, a Classic winner and one of America’s most influential stallions. She is out of Urbane Legend (by leading sire Into Mischief).
Her female family is genuinely high-class: her second dam, Urbane, was a Grade 1 winner of more than $1 million, successful in races such as the Ashland Stakes (G1) and John A. Morris Handicap (G1), and runner-up in the Kentucky Oaks (G1). It’s a pedigree we’re proud to build on.
The youngest member of Fitzpatrick Stables is Legends Song’s weanling by Rogueish. Combining Legends Song’s Empire Maker / Grade 1 family with Rogueish’s sire line, this youngster represents the future of the stable. He is growing up at home, being handled and prepared for the road ahead — and we have high hopes for what is to come.
